Shanté Skyers

Senior Consultant

Shanté Skyers is a nonprofit development professional with 7+ years of experience securing institutional support, cultivating partnerships, and driving mission-aligned growth. A Bronx native with a global lens, she most recently served as Director of Government and Community Relations at Harlem Stage, a performing arts organization focused on the Global Majority. There, she helped secure millions in government and foundation funding while strengthening relationships with funders and the surrounding communities. Shanté’s work is grounded in equity, purpose-driven storytelling, and the belief that fundraising is a tool for transformation.

She holds a Master’s in Applied Theatre from CUNY SPS and a Bachelor’s in Arts Management from SUNY Purchase. She is Board Chair of the Be A Friend Project and a member of the Young Professionals Guild at the Princess Grace Foundation. A longtime community advocate, Shanté leads service initiatives through the Rotary Club of Harlem and continues to explore projects at the intersection of arts, justice, and cultural diplomacy.
